30-Day Limited Warranty for Manufacturer Defects:
We offer a 30-day limited warranty from the date of delivery on all our handheld systems against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers issues that arise from the manufacturing process and materials.
What is Covered Under Warranty:
A manufacturer defect may include, but is not limited to:
- Non-functioning buttons or controls upon arrival.
- Display issues (e.g., dead pixels) present upon arrival.
- Internal hardware malfunctions that prevent the device from operating as intended upon arrival.
What is NOT Covered Under Warranty:
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, drops, or improper handling.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Software issues or modifications not related to a manufacturing defect.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Issues arising after the 30-day warranty period.
How to Claim a Warranty Issue:
- Contact Us: If you believe you have received a product with a manufacturer defect, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order at support@retroconsolecanada.com. Please include your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and if possible, photos or videos demonstrating the defect.
- Assessment: Our customer support team will assess your claim and may request further information or troubleshooting steps.
- Return Authorization: If we determine that the issue is likely a manufacturer defect, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the product for further inspection.

Inspection and Resolution: Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it to confirm the defect. If the defect is confirmed and covered under warranty, we will, at our discretion, offer one of the following resolutions:
- Repair: We may attempt to repair the defective unit.
- Replacement: We may send you a replacement unit of the same model (subject to availability).
- Refund: If repair or replacement is not possible, we may issue a full refund for the purchase price of the defective product.
Returns for Manufacturer Defects:
- Products returned under warranty must be in their original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.
- You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us for warranty inspection. We will cover the cost of shipping the product back to you.
Exchanges:
We typically do not offer exchanges if you simply change your mind, dislike the product, or ordered the wrong item. Please carefully review the product description and specifications before making your purchase. We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions you may have prior to ordering.
Refunds:
Refunds will only be issued for products confirmed to have a manufacturer defect within the 30-day warranty period, where repair or replacement is not feasible. Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 30 business days of our confirmation of the defect and agreement to issue a refund.
Non-Warranty Returns:
We generally do not accept returns for reasons other than manufacturer defects within the 30-day warranty period. All sales are considered final unless a manufacturing defect is identified within the warranty timeframe.
Conditions for Warranty Claims to be Void:
The warranty will be void if the product shows signs of:
- Physical damage (e.g., cracked screen, liquid damage).
- Tampering or unauthorized repairs.
- Use outside of the product's intended purpose.
